My Leadership Project Part 2

I remember sitting in front of the television in my classroom prepared to watch the first teacher to go into space.  I remember the sad lead-like feeling that accompanied the disparaging loss of the Challenger as the astronauts and the New Hampshire teacher fell to the ground.  This was a teacher like my parents in the thralls of an exciting life changing moment that spiraled into negativity and loss.  Those are all of my non-academic reasons for applying for the Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference (CMTC).  The venue fits in with my action research perfectly, and their expectations from the presenter appears very reasonable.

This presentation may push along my career and open a few other doors.  If I apply for the national presentation Council for Exceptional Children , I will be able to present with a colleague which would be fun, but the parameters are a bit more challenging.
